Afterdark respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice to dmca@afterdark.ac including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL) for us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with the information required under 17 U.S.C. §512(g).
Repeat infringers
Accounts found to repeatedly infringe third-party rights will be suspended or terminated.
